So I had a bank of lights go out and couldn’t figure out why…no breakers were tripped in the panel or sub panel. Yesterday, the guys who installed our solar happened to be in the neighborhood so I asked them to take a look. they couldn’t figure it out either.

So today the electrician comes. He looks at all the breakers, then goes to the Solar array, opens the sub-panel off the battery back up, and flips the one breaker that got popped. Lights back. $160. I was all, “I wish I knew that was a sub-panel I could access…I guess this is a 160 dollar lesson.”

Any idea why that breaker popped?
