I get the idea that Palin is a real person, a cheerleader, but a real person. A person that can “roll with the punches.” Bachman is a Stepford-Wife. Someone who want’s to be doing the punching. I think she is ripe for some “congntive-dissonace”.

Bachmann is missing the basic realization that she’s nutty. Even Ron Paul is aware that most people haven’t heard his brand of nuttiness before. He’s aware that he’s a little eccentric. Glenn Beck will often preface statements with” I know this sounds crazy but….”. It’s like Bachmann has been living in some secluded libertarian bubble with no contact with reality. I find it hard to believe she’s unaware that people think she’s a nut.
