Yes, the Twin Cities is a center for Somali refugees, and as it happens, there is a Somali restaurant that delivers to my work address, which I brought home for myself and Mrs. Fish one time. It is pretty good. As far as ethnic food goes, it is as flavorful as any other. It’s actually a lot like Asian curries, but with a different flavor palate.
I always assumed Somali would have a lot of fish dishes due to its location. What’s really neat though about some countries is how much the food can vary from region to region. Paella is obviously more popular in Barcelona than say Madrid.
