But to me the *interesting* part isn’t Trump’s gibberings about The NY Times (which i’m sure will be around to print Dolt 45’s obit when he croaks) but the bit where the President of the US openly demands that a foreign country’s legislature pass an act dictated by, and mainly for the benefit of the US: under threat of official retaliation. And no one ( AFAICT) seems to think it remarkable….

I think half of them are just glad that his ultimatum would lead to a trade war and not a shooting one. And I think half the Rs who aren’t glad about that, are that way because they want a shooting war and possibly even to annex Mexico.
