A lot of people created a backstory that the husband got the wife the bike because he thought she was fat or some such bullshit. Lot of reading into the situation.

The holiday commercials that always get me are the car ones. If my partner ever showed up and was like, “I got you a Christmas present, it’s…. a NEEEEEEW CAR!” My response would probably be to ask for a divorce, because who makes a major purchase like that without consulting their partner?

My ex got himself a new car without a word. I was livid.

And a fucking Pelaton costs as much as a used car.
