We need real punishment for bad actors, and a wide swath of them not a few individual fall guys. If enough high profile Republicans get punished for breaking democratic norms and the laws of our nation it will no longer seem like as appealing an option to others.

Three years ago I was totally opposed to using the legal system to punish opposition politicians. That’s third-world bullshit. Now I want blood sacrifice. First-born stand-ins are negotiable.
