It works though. I know many poor people who are republican. They’re not part of “that group”. They’re poor because they’re being oppressed by people of color/liberals/etc./etc.

Programs like Affirmative Action, ACORN, Food Stamps and the influx of illegal aliens keep them from getting the high paying jobs they deserve.
