Well, way back in 2007 and 2008 I was posting here that I thought that Clinton would beat Obama, given the Clinton machine.

I was wrong. I underestimated Obama’s appeal to young people.

So this time around I don’t know what to think.

To me the Clintons come with so much baggage that I think it has not been wise for so many Democratic operatives to have been pushing Hillary for the past couple of years.

Sure, any of the Republicans still in the race are worse, I think, for the job (though in theory both Bush and Kasich ought to have been good choices in their own ways), than Hillary, but I am out of touch with some large fraction of my society.

I don’t really grok 25 year olds today.

I also find it hard to understand the 65 year olds voting for candidates who want to end their social security and medicare/medicaid. But some do.
