Just finished catching up with The Walking Dead, especially the season 6 finale that I had so far managed to miss.
Yeachh!
Phooey!
Fuck these idiots.

Nobody can manage razor edge creativity forever but they might have at least tried to stick with the realism and believability that were this series’ strong suit from the beginning.
Yeah, well, it’s a zombie flick, why expect realism?
Actually, one of the keys to good science fiction (which zombie flicks are if they have a medical rather than a supernatural premise) is to present an essentially fantastic situation and have believable people interacting with it in realistic ways. This creates the tension that lies at the heart of all fiction.
The final episode diverged even from the most basic consistency and plausibility: The evil Negan’s seemingly endless supply of biker hoodlums, their ability to stay ahead of Rick’s group to set up theatrically choreographed ambushes on every remote country trail and, worst of all, the ability of Rick’s friends to repeatedly make hair’s breadth escapes from seemingly hopeless captivity. This last appears to have finally come to an end with the final episode, which brings us to the cheap, disgusting, utterly disrespectful cliff-hanger ending. This is a worse trick even than Glenn’s apparent death.
I am not sure I will even watch Season 7.
