I nearly got run over by the motorcade of a Tibetan Religious leader last year. Fortunately the lead cars honked loud enough to warn me. But for a brief moment, I was caught on the horns of a Dali Lana.

I (and several others) about got run over by a Ronald Reagan motorcade at Bradley U. in 1972 when he spoke on campus. They saw us but just kept coming, not even slowing down. I never forgot that.
