This is the kind of thing I have been speculating about for quite a while. The right has been preparing a kind of quasi-state for a long time, with the loose-knit but pervasive fundy church networks supplying the organization and numbers, crazed ammosexuals the muscle, and tea party shills the propaganda and leadership. At the very least, this is where Bannon gets his brownshirts in any showdown with the “deep state” (ie courts, military, professional civil service).
