I always celebrate today as Indigenous People’s day. They actually lived here and have provided a far greater influence on our country than Columbus has.

I’d like to know when Columbus became such an American hero. If anyone should celebrate his achievements, it should be the Spanish and their descendants. He never even reached North America.
