I ride Rob Portman hard on this.

He had campaign ads bought and paid for by the NRA. They claim it wasn’t a direct contribution to his campaign, so all is cool.

Finally heard a comment from The Mighty Rob Portman this morning on local Columbus news.

He says this border mess is a problem created by both sides.

But he is working hard on legislation that would stop any government shutdowns in the future.

I’m sure Mitch McConnell will get right on that.
