I found a small amount of context to the quote. Apparently, they were in a room the Cyberman were trying to funnel poisoned air into. So they switched air supplies.

However, basic problem remains. Why is there are dedicated kinky air supply. And is sex air different from other air? (I never thought I would ever have to say that combination of words.)
