Right, the point by bringing up Reagan and Beirut is to show that the right’s outrage involving things like Benghazi is selective outrage.

Also, not only selective outrage, but very selective memory. The folks who, after 9/11, blamed our exit from Somalia after Mogadishu were the ones calling loudest for that exit. I went back and looked at some contemporary reports, and sure enough, it was the GOP pushing for us to leave RIGHT THEN, and Dems supporting the Administration’s desire to withdraw more deliberately.
