Upton Sinclair’s “The Jungle” stays with me. Jack London called it “The Uncle Tom’s Cabin” of wage slavery.

Of course, 80% of Americans will tell you that The Jungle is about exposing the adulteration of food before the FDA and have no idea it’s about the exploitation of workers.
