Noam Chomsky was so right. He predicted the rise of someone like Trump. Wonder if he is surprised however that someone who was so clearly lying and dishonest about everything would succeed just by mouthing words?

Plato had the same critique of democracy, more or less, that it eventually leads to tyranny.
