THIS. Absolutely this. The political calculation is that the $700 million bribe (cough cough) I mean “perfectly legal campaign contribution” that the Koch Bros. have promised the GOP will buy enough TV ads to swamp the backlash to this massive giveaway to the .01%

By the time the awful effects of this tax structure start kicking in, the GOP is going to be safely out of government, in their insanely lucrative lobbying positions, leaving some poor Democratic schnook to clean up their mess.

In short: 2009 all over again. This time without any wiggle room for stimulus, so we’ll be going all the way down into national bankruptcy, hyper-inflation and a REAL Great Depression II.
