That’s the biggest thing right there. Hitler was just as lazy as Trump, quite frankly - even in the cauldron of WW2, he was still living like some Bohemian artist.

On D-Day, the reason German forces didn’t deploy their available armor in the Normandy area (not that there was a huge amount of it) was because Hitler was asleep until about 10 A.M…….and no one dared to wake him up. That right there is flagrant irresponsibility from all involved.

There is a lot of evidence that Hitler was addicted to opioids and received regular injections, especially before important events. His personal doctor was never allowed to be away from the Führer for any length of time. Hitler was probably just whacked on Eukodal when the Allies landed, and there is evidence that his famous and much-memed flip-out scene in the Bunker at the end of the war was related to withdrawal from his favorite drug cocktail.
