wound up having a broker completely fuck up a Friday order for me. Multiple transfers of money from a sweep account into different funds in a fund family. Instead of selling me the share amounts that I was ordering, he sold me dollar amounts, and he did it for four different trades. Fortunately, the market took a tumble Friday, so by fucking up my order he probably saved me a couple hundred dollars, but I would not really want to be him having to explain to the floor boss Monday how he managed to fuck this up, especially considering he read my order back to me so there was no question I was buying share amounts and not dollars.
