Periodically, I point out that 90% of what is said about the attitudes of the great mass of DT voters in this space has not a trace of supporting evidence. This is one of those times. It has nothing to do with counting (or counting on) people.

Best I can do is report back what my sane relatives report back from their conversations in Central Wisconsin, with the suffering farmers who still maintain that Trump is their hero.

Their attitudes are not going to change until they switch their media diet from AM radio all day and Fox News all night. Everything they hear is telling them that what Trump is doing is necessary, that the blowback is no big deal, and that those limp-wristed lib’rul pantywaists are overreacting as usual.
