i felt, and feel, a lot of guilt because i have my mom and mrsdm doesnt have hers (or her dad)
we talked about it and i said i was soory
she said i was an idiot (nicely and with a smile)
but she understood why it bothers me

i havent seen my brother’s family in a year or more - philadelphia
and my niece is coming for a visit from israel after 2 years. we wont see her either.
it’ll all be by zoom
my sister was able do drive down here more or less nonstop from north carolina - no overnight. - immediate laundry, shower etc - so we figured she was safe enough. stayed 2 weeks. that was good for mom.

There’s a young family a few yards down from us that have had at least three parties, teeming with elementary school-age kids, since the pandemic began. Fucking pisses me off to no end.

We’re doing our damnedest to not spread this thing and when you see people doing that shit? Ugh.
