Then celebrate the 30th anniversary of the release of Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit” on September 10. (Really!)

It’s my parents’ anniversary. That’ll do. Just worried about the jingoism and chest thumping.

ETA: I never got into Nirvana. I left the country for a couple of years at the end of the 80s when The Replacements were the “last band that mattered” and came back when Nirvana and grunge were the thing. It never took for me.
