Ah. Two different things are being called accelerationism. What I’ve seen (from the left or from right wing liars pretending to be left) referred to as accelerationism is the offensively stupid thesis that the US needs to hit political rock bottom in the form of an extended period of Republican rule before people will “get it” enough to actually oppose Republicans.

I like to summarize this as: “Many of you will die but that’s a sacrifice I am willing to make.”
