Yes, those were the hearings. Galloway is an asshole, but he is skilled a British parliamentary debate, which is a lot fiercer than the droning for the cameras that passes for debate here. The senators questioning him weren’t ready for him and they found it hard to score points on him.

Norm Coleman being one of the senator. Yeah, Galloway is rather fluent in cornering his opponents. I think it’s mostly accomplished through his verbal abilities, volume, and accent.
