And to clarify, I’m eschewing the details in said Trump tweets. The big takeaway is, Trump and Sessions are clearly in a stalemate, so he’ll use people like Andrew McCabe and/or Hillary as a red herring… if it means he can gaslight and humiliate Sessions.

Sessions is the target. McCabe is collateral damage.
