You can see where the White House is going with this. They’re trying to make a play at being seen as “reasonable,” that they’re not opposed to citizenship for Dreamers, they just need all their demands met. And if the Democrats won’t meet those demands, then they’re being “unreasonable” and thus they’re the ones who are holding up the process.
