I read a piece up about Hannity and HUD on Politico and the vast majority of comments completely miss why this is a big deal. It’s not that he owns more than 800 houses or that he got money from HUD, it’s that he traded positive press for an increase in the amount of loan money he received. He railed on government doing things for average people but took advantage of government programs (created under Obama, no less) all the while railing on Obama and selling the Trump admin - who gave him millions more loan capacity.
