My FB exchange was part of a thread involving the FB handling of Stonekettle. So, yes, Twitter and FB are private organizations who can do what they want but we do have to worry about their handling of liberals on the site. Nothing Stonekettle said warranted his suspension — so we do have to be concerned on their rules on who can be silenced.

Re: James Woods. His account was suspended over a “satirical” meme that was stupid but I’m not sure justified such an action.

agree on both counts

when i suggest they can ‘do what they want’ - i mean they can make whatever rules they want. you then agree and post or dont. and they have to be evenhanded and accurate in enforcing those rules

i’d like to think they couldnt be arbitrary, erratic, unreasonable, etc
