The thing about “it’s all aesthetics” is that…you have to fight that concept, even if in doing so you develop an argot and a style that amount to Yet Another Aesthetic. The only way things get better is constantly reinforce what materially is.

Mistaking…or being pressed into accepting…seeming for being is…lethal.

Hard manual work in the Alabama sun kicked my ass today. I’ll insist that I didn’t come to that conclusion gladly.
