Nobody knows, but let’s wait to see what happens with immigration reform next summer. I believe that will convince most moderates/independents considering voting Republican to vote the other way after the sane people get sick of people putting dogwhistles out to energize the xenophobes. In a sane Republican Party, they would run moderates instead, but we know that won’t happen.
