Some friends and I were chatting online during tonight’s Bears game and they suggested I email you regarding an idea that I floated, in order to see if it would find your favor. As you know already, Jay Cutler suffered a concussion tonight as the result of an illegal hit. It was my idea that the defender who hit Cutler illegally should be suspended until Cutler is able to play again. That would establish a more effective deterrent to illegal hits and might help prevent concussions. Please feel free to reply to me if you wish.
