There’s a guy on YouTube, RichRebuilds, who repairs Teslas the DIY way. He complains that the manufacturer is not keen on home mechanics working on their cars. You might find his channel interesting.

He visited the SEMA convention recently, and met some guys who took a ‘49 Mercury and Tesla-fied it.
