There are many ways to confront them. Challenge their evidence on logical and factual grounds. Don’t let them set the terms, for example, “long-form birth certificate.” Don’t let them talk over you or string so many points together they can’t be challenged. Learn their favorite cliches, things like “he seems credible,” and “Our government can do anything.” Possible responses to these would be “We have YOUR word for that, it must be true,” and “that’s debatable but it doesn’t mean they ARE doing EVERYTHING they’re accused of doing.”
Don’t be timid about challenging their personal honesty. Remember, these are utterly amoral liars who routinely make the most scurrilous accusations against some very good people.
