Bachmann is missing the basic realization that she’s nutty. Even Ron Paul is aware that most people haven’t heard his brand of nuttiness before. He’s aware that he’s a little eccentric. Glenn Beck will often preface statements with” I know this sounds crazy but…”. It’s like Bachmann has been living in some secluded libertarian bubble with no contact with reality. I find it hard to believe she’s unaware that people think she’s a nut.

According to the Rolling Stone article she has been living in a secluded bubble. And it’s not a libertarian bubble, it’s a whacky right wing strange mixture of American Mythology and Religion bubble.
