Not that hating is wrong in principle, but I’ll pass, thanks.

The reason he says that is likely because America, Americans, see themselves as the smartest country in the world above everyone else in existence. If you look past the title you can see that we are far from being this “exceptional” nation and it populated by a large majority of shall we say, intellectually hindered people. Those are the statistics and that’s the reality of this country.
