There IS a reason why a black kid in a hoodie walking through a neighborhood at night is regarded with suspicion. like i said I’m not defending Zimmerman’s reaction or actions but the fact is that black people are regarded that way for a reason. One of my x coworkers comes over to my house sometimes and I don’t hear him knocking on my door. I tell him to come around to the back and knock on my window.. do you know what he says???? He says I don’t think it would be a good idea for a black man to be walking around to the back of your house knocking on windows.
