Now that I think about it, what prompted the prosecutor to Fields if she would accept an apology from Lewandowski? Especially when the prosecutor’s office is making a point to say that it has not yet been handed the case? Did Trump and/or Lewandowski call the prosecutor and put forward the offer of an apology if it would make the whole matter “go away”?
