It has been some time since I was in Houston, but I do not remember it having a lot of elevation changes.

And like all big cities, sometimes the layout and engineering for roads, etc. turn the city into a series of new rivers as there is just nowhere for the water to go with retaining walls, sound barriers, mounds, parking lots, etc.

Who plans for 50” of water in a few days? Might have to start.
