No shit. There was one good break: The RCMP had an inspection set up between Regina and Saskatoon; they were pulling over nearly every car, but they just waved us past.

I will limber up a credit card and try to use Skype to call my homeowner’s insurance company tomorrow morning. Crap.

Can you have your neighbor/the chairwoman contact your insurance company and have them get in touch with you by email?

ETA or ask someone in Saskatoon to let you borrow their phone?
