Question for the electrician or the DIYers here: Where can I find the transformer for the doorbell? I have looked in the attic and near the breaker box. Some have suggested it’s right near the inside ringer, but if that’s true, I will have to cut up drywall to get to it, and I don’t want to do that unless I am sure. I need to replace it with a higher volt-amp version to allow my (wife’s) new video doorbell to ring the existing system.
