There are two factions in the struggle for the soul of the NY Times:
>> those who created Sunday’s magnificent tribute to the Americans who have perished from this pandemic and
>> those who think Bari Weiss, Ross Douthat, and Bret Stephens are good hires and continue to employ them.

My guess is there is no overlap between the groups.

The Times is still not getting any money from me. It’s not happening. And it’s not just because of Bari, Ross and Bret. It’s also because of Maggie Haberman’s White House reporting.
