The temperature is probably not the worst problem Ingenuity will face: I’d guess the bigger obstacle to optimal performance is going to be the lack of atmospheric pressure: Even the lowlands of Mars are the equivalent of, what? 25,000 feet above sea level on Earth (?). I’m assuming that prop has been designed to cope….
I saw on Wikipedia that trying to fly on Mars was like flying in Earth’s atmosphere at 34,000 m (112,000+ feet). The propeller is incredibly over-sized for the tiny 4 lb drone to account for this.
