Yeah I was saying on the previous thread, fuck the Berenstain bears. I always hated those fuckers, but my kids would get those books out of the library and demand to be read from at bedtime.

And now my youngest daughter (who is 34 & expecting her 3rd child) tells me that she never liked them either.

So I’m “Why didn’t you say so?”

And she’s like “The other kids liked them. Then you stopped reading them when you got the Disney books.”

So I asked, “Do your kids like the Berenstain books?”

And she’s like “Oh hell no, I’m not bringing that shit into my house!”
