And we might get to see SYG fail as an inappropriate defense. SYG never was about pursuit and stalking. It’s a ridiculous stretch to say it does. Especially by a judge. There is SCOTUS precedent otherwise.

Unless it can be shown that Zimmerman was breaking the law up until the critical point, it’s hard to see how the SYG would not apply. It doesn’t actually matter what the law was intended to accomplish. As long as it is badly written, it may still fuck things up.
