Trump is citing a lunatic who has offered no proof whatsoever beyond his own raw assertion, and who blocks journalists on Twitter who’ve politely asked him to provide any data that backs up his claims.

We’re in incredibly dangerous territory here, our President is an absolutely unhinged, delusional, narcissistic, power mad lunatic whose top priority seems to be retconning the objective historical facts surrounding the election that brought him to power in spite of his losing the popular vote.

And our press is unwilling to call him out on it to the extent that he deserves: not for fear of reprisal but for fear of the Bottom Line
