This is where we are in 2018 - because the GOP continued enabling him knowing he was awful all along. It was just Trump was their kind of awful and they thought they could do what they want and get all the tax breaks they could hope for.

Some Republican in 2012 (was it Grover Norquist?) said “we just want someone with enough working fingers to sign whatever we put in front of him.”

That’s exactly what they’ve got.
