So I was looking at the Senate map for 2020, and unless Espy pulls off a miracle in the Mississippi runoff it will be a hard slog to get to 50 for the Democrats. GOP Senators in Az, Co and Me will be primary targets, and if the Democrats have good candidates they may be able to pickoff one from Tx, Ga or NC. But Doug Jones will have a hard time surviving without a pedophile to run against; with Nelson’s loss* he is the last Democratic Senator south of Virginia. We need Tx, Ga and/or NC to turn purple to break the reactionary stranglehold on the Senate. I’d love to vote for someone to defeat Yurtle, but I just don’t see it happening.
