A number of years ago, a family was using a U-Haul to move across country. They let their 3 kids sleep in the back with the door open about a foot for ventilation. At a truck stop in Laramie they checked on the kids and found all 3 kids dead from carbon monoxide poisoning. It was a really tough time for the first responders.
