I don’t think he’ll ever shake the ‘Gingrich who stole Christmas’ label the MSM anointed him with. He was demonized in the 90s, and I think it will continue to plague him.

I also think he’s much to happy being an academic and policy wonk to throw his carcass back in the meat grinder again. He’s more likely to be an advisor or pundit in the future.
